Gene Davis

1920-1985


Washington Color School painter Gene Davis lived and work in Washington, D.C. and participated in the 1965 exhibit “Washington Color Painters” which defined the movement. His work is in the collections of the Guggenheim Museum, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and many others.
