David Driskell
1931-2020
David Driskell achieved international reknown as an artist, critic, and historian. He was one of the leading authorities on the subject of African American Art and the recipient of ten honorary doctoral degrees. His work is in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Phillips Collection, and many others.
